Lo Spirito Santo di Dio che si è effuso sulla Santa Chiesa si è posato sulla Sua Augusta Persona. Dio sia Benedetto per averLa scelta come Successore dell’Apostolo Pietro a guida della Santa Chiesa di nostro Signore Cristo Gesù.

La Santità Vostra è il dolce Cristo in terra, araldo dell’Amore infinito, Segno inconfondibile della predilezione di Dio per la sua Chiesa, Luce per il mondo.

La storia dell’amore di Dio continua nel tempo degli uomini e si fa presente per annunciare costantemente la vittoria di Cristo e Vostra Santità è il segno visibile di questa vittoria.

Our hope is that each community of the Catholic Fraternity may send a delegation of its youth to live this experience of fraternity and universality of the Church in communion with the new Bishop of Rome who will attend the Event.

During the meeting held on January 28th, it was confirmed that the meeting with the Pope will consist of two distinct parts: the Vigil of Pentecost (Saturday, May 18th, 2013) and the Mass of Pentecost (Sunday, May 19th, 2013) in St. Peter’s Square. The Vatican will not organize other meetings in proximity to the two events with the Pope. Anyway, each movement and community is free to organize its own meetings in preparation for the meeting with the Pope.

Therefore, this Catholic Fraternity will hold, as in past years, a Celebration on Friday evening May 17th at the Basilica of Saint Mary in Trastevere, next to our Office at Palazzo San Calisto in Rome. The Celebration is suitable to receive and guide the members of our communities coming to Rome, as happened in the previous Meeting of Pentecost in 2006 (several members of the Catholic Fraternity attended the Mass held the day before the Vigil of Pentecost in 2006, at the Basilica of San John of the Florentines in Rome). Moreover, it would be an opportunity for many to visit for the first time our office at Palazzo San Calisto.

Afternoon-evening: Vigil with the Pope in Saint Peter’s Square

Sunday 19th May 2013
Morning: Holy Mass of Pentecost presided over by the Pope in Saint Peter’s Square
Afternoon: International Meeting of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal (ICCRS)

Each Community will have to make the hotel reservations for its members through its own Travel Agency and book the ticktes for the Celebrations in Saint Peter’s Square at the Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization. For information: Don Marco Sozzi marco.sozzi@pcpne.va.

La pace sia con voi!

La rinuncia del Santo Padre Benedetto XVI ha colto tutto il mondo di sorpresa e questa Catholic Fraternity non ha mancato di far pervenire a Lui un messaggio di affetto filiale e di vicinanza nella preghiera.

Mentre ci uniamo in orazione per le intenzioni del nostro caro Papa, sono certo che non mancherà l’occasione nelle nostre Comunità per intercedere per il prossimo Conclave che avrà inizio a metà di marzo. Che lo Spirito Santo, guida della Chiesa, possa illuminare i Cardinali per l’elezione del nuovo Pontefice.

Auguri di una Santa Quaresima.
